Calling all boaters: It’s time for the annual lighted boat parade at the Peninsula Yacht Club – Caribbean style.Registration at 6:30 p.m. at the Peninsula Club, 18501 Harbor Light Blvd. in Cornelius. Boats assemble by 7 p.m. and begin the lake parade by 7:30. Prize categories include Best Decorated Boat, Best Dressed Crew, Most Colorful Lights, Most Harmonious Crew (singing holiday carols) and the no doubt coveted MC3 Award, which stands for “Most Clueless & Confused Crew.” Live steel drum entertainment will be on hand.
